A dedicated server gives everyone the same fixed address, the same event rotation and the same rules every week, with no argument about who hosts.
Yes, with one thing to plan for. The server defines the content list, but each driver still subscribes to those Workshop items themselves and needs the same load order, or they get a data mismatch and cannot join. That is how Wreckfest works rather than a hosting limitation. What the server gives you is one canonical list to point your league at, instead of everyone assembling their own.
The event rotation and track list, the damage level, car class and individual car restrictions, whether special vehicles are allowed, whether car reset and the wrong way limiter are enabled, the bot count, weather and the usual name and password. All of it lives in the server config, and we will surface it in the panel's editor rather than making you edit files over FTP between races.
Not really. You control how many bots fill the grid, but AI difficulty is a client side setting in Wreckfest rather than something the dedicated server dictates. If your league runs bots, agree a difficulty between yourselves; the server cannot enforce it for you.
Twenty four is the standard full grid and a genuine hard cap: setting a higher number in the config still gives you twenty four. You can run smaller fields happily, and derby events in particular are often better with fewer, angrier cars.
