After nearly three years in Early Access, Keen Games' voxel survival RPG Enshrouded reached version 1.0 on 15 October 2026. It launched on PC and PlayStation 5 on the same day, with PS5 Pro support. The Xbox Series X|S version has moved to spring 2027.
If your group wants a world that stays online without one person having to keep their machine running, this is a good moment to set one up. LOW.MS Enshrouded servers are available for both PC and PS5 from launch.
What's new in 1.0
Version 1.0 is a substantial update. Here is what you and your group can expect when you log in.
- Floating islands. Embervale gets a new area in the sky, reached by grappling hook, glider and climbing. It brings new enemies, upgrades and secrets, and the existing biomes get new locations and better navigation.
- Higher level cap and a Mage rework. The level cap rises from 45 to 50, and the Mage class has been fully reworked.
- A logic system for builders. Switches, levers, pressure plates and timers can drive lights, doors and traps, so your base can do more than look good.
- Bigger Adventure Sharing. Traps, spawners and logic elements mean players can build and share their own dungeons.
- Combat and progression. This builds on Update 8 "Forging the Path" (overhauled skill tree, Focus special attacks), with smarter enemies, more enemy variety and a balancing pass.
- Quality of life. Fishing has been reworked (bait mostly attracts fish from its own biome), items on the ground are picked up automatically, chests can be upgraded without emptying them first, and NPC pathfinding in bases is better.
- Engine improvements. You get longer view distances, better shadows and vegetation, and expanded ray tracing.

LOW.MS Enshrouded servers: PC and PS5
A dedicated server keeps your world available for everyone in your group, whoever happens to be online. Here is what you get with LOW.MS.
- PC or PS5, your choice. Choose PC (Steam) or PlayStation 5 when you order. The plans are the same and so is the price.
- One platform per server. PS5 servers are for PS5 players and PC servers are for PC players. There is no crossplay between the two at launch, so pick the platform your group plays on.
- Up to 16 player slots. Plans start at 4 slots, and every plan includes 10 GB of RAM.
- Every setting in one place. The Manage tab holds difficulty presets, all the custom tunables, and the four player roles (Admin, Friend, Guest, Visitor), each with its own generated password.
- Backups you can rely on. One-click and scheduled nightly backups mean a big patch never costs you your world.
- Bring your existing world. PC players can upload an existing save and carry on where they left off.
