Directly install plugins on your Rust Server without manually having to upload!
We are excited to announce that we have introduced a new feature to our control panel that allows you to directly install plugins to your server, eliminating the need to manually upload any plugins.
Previously, in order to install a plugin on your server, you had to first download the plugin from the UMOD/Oxide website, and then manually upload it to your server through an FTP client or file manager. This process could be time-consuming and cumbersome, especially for those who are not familiar with server administration.
With the new plugin installation feature, you can now easily search and install plugins directly from our control panel, without having to navigate through multiple windows or manually upload any files. This streamlined process not only saves time, but also reduces the likelihood of errors occurring during the installation process.
To access the new plugin installation feature, simply navigate to your control panel and look for the "Install UMod/Oxide Plugins" link/icon on the left hand side.
Once you click on this icon, you will be taken to a page where you can browse and search for plugins that are compatible with your server's operating system and application environment.
From there, you can select the plugin you want to install, review its details and requirements, and click on the "Install" button to start the installation process. The system will automatically download and install the plugin to your server, and you will be able to see its status and configuration options from the same page.
Additionally, some plugins may still require manual configuration inside their own configuration files, even after they are installed through the new feature.
