How to drop items in Ark Survival Evolved

PC

To drop items in Ark Survival Evolved, follow these steps:

1. Open your inventory by pressing the "I" key on your keyboard or by selecting the inventory icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Find the item you want to drop and click on it to select it.
3. Once the item is selected, click on the "Drop Item" button, which is located in the lower right-hand corner of the inventory screen. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the item out of your inventory to drop it.
4. A confirmation box will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to drop the item. Click "OK" to drop the item.
5. The item will now be dropped on the ground and can be picked up by other players or creatures.

Note: Be careful when dropping items, as they will be lost if you drop them in water or if they fall off a cliff. Additionally, some items cannot be dropped, such as quest items or items that are part of a structure.

PS5

1. Open your inventory by pressing the triangle button on your Playstation controller.
2. Find the item you want to drop and select it by using the left joystick.
3. Once the item is selected, press the options button on your controller.
   4 . A menu will appear with several options, including "Drop Item." Select this option by moving the joystick to highlight it and pressing the X button.
4. A confirmation box will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to drop the item. Select "Yes" to drop the item.
5. The item will now be dropped on the ground and can be picked up by other players or creatures.

Xbox

1. Open your inventory by pressing the "Y" button on your Xbox controller.
2. Find the item you want to drop and select it by using the left joystick.
3. Once the item is selected, press the "X" button on your controller.
4. A menu will appear with several options, including "Drop Item." Select this option by moving the joystick to highlight it and pressing the "A" button.
5. A confirmation box will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to drop the item. Select "Yes" to drop the item.
6. The item will now be dropped on the ground and can be picked up by other players or creatures.
