It is a separate game rather than part of the MMO. Dragonwilds is a standalone open world survival crafting game set in the RuneScape universe, with familiar skills and lore but its own progression on its own map. Your Old School or RuneScape 3 account and stats do not carry into it.

The server config is deliberately small: the server name, the world it loads, an optional world password, which platforms can join (crossplay, or PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch only) and the admin password, which we generate for you. Being straight about what is not there, since some hosts imply otherwise: there is no difficulty setting in the dedicated server config. Difficulty is a property of the world itself, chosen when it is created, and it does not reliably survive being moved onto a dedicated server, so pick it deliberately at the start.

Give the server your Player ID. A Dragonwilds server will not load a world without an Owner ID, which is one specific player's in-game identifier, so we cannot fill it in for you. Copy it from the bottom left of the Dragonwilds settings menu, paste it into Owner ID on the Manage tab in the control panel, and restart. The owner can ban and unban anyone, so use the ID of whoever runs the group.
