FiveM is the modification framework that turns Grand Theft Auto V into a platform for custom multiplayer servers. Roleplay cities, racing leagues, drift servers, cops and robbers, economy servers with jobs and property: none of it exists in the base game, and all of it runs on FiveM. Server owners write their own resources in Lua, JavaScript or C#, pull in community scripts, and build a world that behaves nothing like GTA Online. A FiveM server is a long-lived community rather than a lobby. Players build characters, businesses and reputations over months, which means downtime costs you more than a wasted evening. Our servers run on high clock speed Ryzen CPUs with NVMe storage, because a busy roleplay city with hundreds of active resources is bound by single-thread performance and disk latency far more than by raw core count. Every player needs their own legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto V, and your server needs a Cfx.re licence key, which is free to obtain.
