No, Evrima does not currently support mods. The developers plan to add mod support once core development is further along. Server customisation is done through configuration files and RCON commands.
Evrima uses a custom RCON protocol — standard tools like mcrcon won't work. You'll need an Evrima-compatible client such as TheIsleEvrimaRCON. Connect using your server IP, RCON port (shown in your control panel), and admin password.
Yes, nesting is a core Evrima feature. Dinosaurs can lay eggs, raise offspring, and pass on traits. You can configure nesting-related settings in Game.ini through your control panel.

The Isle is an open-world dinosaur survival game where you pick a species and try to stay alive. You start as a juvenile and have to eat, drink, and avoid being someone else's lunch long enough to grow into an adult. It's tense, it's slow-paced in the best way, and every encounter with another player is genuinely nerve-wracking. The active branch is Evrima, which gets regular updates — new dinosaurs, nesting mechanics, dynamic combat with bleed and bone breaks, and a proper AI ecosystem. The roster sits at around 20 playable species right now, with a roadmap targeting 50+. Legacy is still technically on Steam but hasn't been touched in years. Our servers run Evrima exclusively. You get full control over growth rates, AI density, day/night cycles, weather, diet systems, and which species are allowed. RCON gives you live admin tools for kicks, bans, announcements, and more.
