How to Host a Dedicated Server for The Front

Get SteamCMD onto a Windows box and run the command below. The Front's game and dedicated server share App ID 2285150, anonymous login is fine, and no Linux build exists.

Then runTheFrontManager.exeto generateServerConfig_.iniand edit name, password, cap, mode, admins. - 04Boot it and grab the connection details
Launch via the manager's Start button so the
?DedicatedServertoken is set (the?OfficialServeralternative silently breaks NPCs). Hand outIP:7900and test the join from a second machine before telling anyone the server is live. - 05Keep the box on, forever
The box can't sleep, can't auto-reboot, can't lose power unnoticed. Back up both the bundled MariaDB AND the world files: either alone is useless. Re-run SteamCMD when Samar patches, then update every client to match before reconnects.
